HS51	HS51, Human Skin Etna-Elastin	1mg 2mg 5mg	Prepared from Human Skin Elastin, EPC No. GH421, by the method of Mecham and Lange (33). In the method, human skin elastin is extracted two times for 60 minutes at 37°C with 1 M NaOH in 80% ethanol. The second extraction supernatant is neutralized with HCL03, clarified by centrifugation, dialyzed and lyophilized.

GH421	GH421, Human Skin Elastin	1mg 2mg 5mg	Prepared by the method of Starcher et al.(3) in which contaminating proteins are removed by mild extraction conditions. This method minimizes peptide bond cleavage. The purity is based upon amino acid analyses and the percent insoluble residue that remains after digestion with porcine elastase.
