Our first HeroRAT, Sniffles, a mine sniffing rat, and Chewa, a TB sniffing rat, have recently retired. We are proud to announce, we are the new adoptive parents of Carolina, another TB sniffing HeroRAT.
Scientists envisioned the pre-dominant role of rodent species (rats and mice) in biomedical and veterinary research. Our mission is to provide new technology products, and supplies enabling its vision. We embrace the HeroRat® concept as a novel embodiment and expansion of its central vision – the growing partnership between human and rodent species to advance scientific and biomedical knowledge, improve human and animal health, improve detection of disease and treatment options, and clean up our environment.
