The SIEVEWELL nanopore chip
ushered in a new era of nanopore based single-cell separation. SIEVEWELL is a
newly designed chamber slide with an additional nanopore structure at the
bottom of the liquid chamber. Thanks to this design, users can not only separate
and capture single cells in the nanopore, but also directly treat these cells
in the hole, such as antibody labeling, single cell staining, cleaning, etc.,
without fear of losing any cells. This completely cell-free on-chip approach
makes SIEVEWELL a highly effective choice for rare single-cell applications,
such as isolating circulating tumor cells, fetal cells, and more.
