TheraCyte™ has been used to correct diabetes in rodents and deliver molecules such as Human Growth Hormone, cytokines, monoclonal antibodies and Erythropoietin using genetically engineered cells. TheraCyte, Inc. manufactures cell encapsulation systems that enable the development of cell-based therapeutic products for treating chronic and recurrent diseases including diabetes, infection control, protein deficiencies, and immunological disorders.
