我们的合作研究团队跨越学科，在科学知识的前沿开展工作，提供解决基础科学问题的新方法，开发改善生活的技术。CBIS研究人员专注于生命科学、物理科学、信息学、生物工程、数据建模、生物成像、工程、照明系统、建筑、商业、艺术和媒体技术等前沿领域的合作、转化研究。
由于该中心专注于生物技术的基础研究和应用研究，正在开发新的工具，以深入研究和更好地理解生物学，并最终设计新的产品和工艺，以应对关键的挑战和机遇。
Our collaborative research teams bridge disciplines and work at the frontiers of scientific knowledge, offering new ways of tackling fundamental science and developing technologies to improve lives. CBIS researchers uniquely focus on collaborative, translational research at the frontiers of life sciences, physical science, informatics, bioengineering, data modeling, bioimaging, engineering, lighting systems, architecture, business, the arts, and media technologies.
As a result of the center’s focus on both fundamental and applied research in biotechnology, new tools are being developed to delve into and better understand biology and ultimately to design new products and processes that will address key challenges and opportunities.
