The Company
Pulse Scientific Inc. was founded in 1992 and is a privately-owned incorporation. Mr. Allen Chan, the principal has over 30 years of business experience in the field of Medical Diagnostic Products.
The company has received the ISO 13485 / MDSAP Quality System Certification for Medical Devices. In addition, the company and its products are registered with Health Canada. Pulse Scientific Inc. has participated in the prestigious CAP Survey for many years with excellent results.
The Products
There are three main product categories that we offer - Diagnostic Test Kits, Febrile Antigen, and Rapid Diagnostic Tests.
The Diagnostic Test Kits are complete kits that the end-user (Hospital Medical Laboratories or Doctor's Offices) can perform the test at their sites without the need of any instrumentation. The popular products include Anti-Streptolysin-O (ASO), C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Rheumatoid Factor (RF), Syphilis (RPR Antigen), Rotavirus, Infectious Mononucleosis, and Lupus.
In the Febrile Antigen line, we offer the eight Salmonella Antigens (including Typhoid O and Typhoid H), and Proteus antigens.
The Rapid Diagnostic Strip/Card Test includes Pregnancy, H. Pylori, Adeno/Rotavirus Combo test, Malaria, and Drug of Abuse Test.
The Urinalysis Strips detect parameters that include Glucose, Blood, pH and up to 14 parameters. Immunodiffusion and Complement Fixation Fungal Test to detect Aspergillus, Blastomyces, Histoplasma, and Coccidioides. Bactobank is a unique system using plastic beads/broth to preserve Microorganisms.
