OPERON成立于1973年，是免疫化学领域的一家私人研发实验室。最初，该公司的目标是满足西班牙市场的需求。三年后，战略发生了变化，重点放在国际市场上。
最初的产物是免疫板、用过氧化物酶和荧光素标记的多克隆抗体以及凝集乳胶产物。
OPERON was established 1973 as a private R&D laboratory in the field of immunochemistry. Initially, the target of the company was to satisfy the needs of the Spanish market. Three years later, the strategy changed focusing on the international market.
The initial products were immuno-plates, polyclonal antibodies labelled with peroxidase and fluorescein and the agglutination latex products.
